Yes, you can withdraw your FD before the maturity date but there are some withdrawal penalty.
- Upto 3 months from date of deposit : Withdrawal is not permitted. 2) After 3 months but before 6 months : Interest shall not be payable. 3) After 6 months but before the date of maturity : The rate of interest shall be 2% lower than the rate specified for the period during which the scheme has run. In case of no. rate being specified for the deposit period, interest rate payable shall be 3% lower than the lowest rate offered by BFL.
